NOS FORD 1971 Round KNOB Turn Signal Switch Tilt Steering WHEEL / Column MUSTANG

  
This is a very rare switch and concours correct for 1971 models and possibly 1970 models. The HAZARD flasher knob is SQUARE and says HAZARD in white.

A very noticeable change from the small and round knob of the this original switch. To see the knob from replacement switches just see the last picture. If you have a 1970 or 1971 vehicle that used the original small round knob, you need this switch. All the high dollar Boss 302's, 429's, 428 Mach 1's and Shelby's need this switch for their restoration, THE STORY of Ford's Cost Cutting & Its Affect on THIS Part Ford was cutting costs in the early 1970's and had realized they could replaced multiple different parts with a single part while maintaining function over small design changes that most owners would not even notice. This is similar to how the aftermarket can replace a number of parts with a single part.

It means wires may be longer and have extra slack or require modification when performing the installation, the part may look or function slightly different, the knob may be different, and In some cases the plug was not installed. This is NEW in the original package. I have made sure to take multiple pictures of the switch so you can see exactly what you will be receiving. In the description below I have detailed the original engineering numbers that will be on the tag on the original parts unless previously replaced with the other compatible switch. Looking up all the compatible models and providing all these details takes additional time.
