For sale is one refurbished tilt tele steering column. Correct for Corvettes 1978-Early 1979 w/Cruise. This is an original column that has been refurbished and is in very good condition.

It has been looked over by a steering column specialist. All the parts that were broken have been replaced, and the original parts that are still in useable condition were cleaned and re-used. The outer casing was painted black throughout. It includes the original turn signal lever and tilt lever, but it does not include the horn button. The turn signal lever has some light gouges and the chrome has peeled off and there is some very light surface rust under (pics), looks like someone tried to use some pliers to remove the lever.

The cruise control lever is a little loose and the "CRIUSE" letters are all worn off (pics). The wiring and connectors are all in good condition. There is no key or lock cylinder included for this steering column. It will require very minor disassembly in order to install your steering wheel.

This is a great refurbished original steering column for your Corvette, please look at the pictures. If you have a problem with a part, please bring it to our attention. We are easy to work with but don't take to squeaky wheels very well.
