28 Chrome Tilt Steering Column, Column Shift. This column features tilt as well as self-cancelling turn signals and four way flashers.

Works for column shifted 3 or 4 speed automatics. 3 and 4 speed indicator include. They do not have an ignition switch in the column so you will need to have a dash mounted one. This is a universal column, it has no specific application. These are a 28 column measured from end of the D-D coupler to the end of the column itself (minus the steering wheel adapter).

Total length is 30 1/2 to steering wheel flange if you include the adapter. 2" Column diameter and 2" Column diameter and 1" DD Shaft, 2-1/8" Tall. Columns use a horn wire system which was common in most GM columns'69 and newer and have a standard 4 1/4 male wiring harness which was also common on many GM applications. These come with a 9 bolt style steering wheel adapter which matches numerous aftermarket wheels and even some factory GM ones.

Specially designed aluminum ignition lock gear provide better locking mechanism. Other sellers use plastic material for the lock, the shift gear will break off and lock locking gear that can render it unsafe. Our patented design will ensure the safety of the driver. When shifting between gears, it will always lock in place correctly.
