Column is correct for 1979, 1980 but will fit all the way to'70. You would just have to use the'D' shaped intermediate shaft for this column (included). Note : Shaft included is a good working, fully functional shaft but it is as taken from the car, original condition, not restored.

Column has been completely disassembled, cleaned, any worn parts replaced, and re-assembled. Thread locker was added on the 4 cradle bolts (these are what keep the tilt tight). Column is rock solid tight and is going to stay that way.

Column was sanded to bare metal, etch primed, sanded through 400 grit, primed, and painted with a quality black satin lacquer paint. Column has new cylinder lock w/ 2 keys, new exact fit factory style floor pan seal.

Turn signal is fully functional. Bearings were in excellent shape. They have been re-greased and are like new. Chrome on levers is close to new.

Column is not correct for 1981. That year had the light switch on the column, this one does not.

It will work in an'81 but the light switch would have to be moved to the dash.
