Parting out a 1974 Buick Electra 225 Limited Coupe, What do you need? I came across two very excellent Buick parts cars recently (1974 Electra Limited Coupe and 1975 LeSabre Sedan) and grabbed a lot of great parts. The 1974 Electra had a mere 66K small-rural-town miles on it... I consider myself a Cadillac expert, but not a Buick one.

Rigid standard columns can be annoying! Generally, the 1971-73 and 1974-76 (this one) are fully interchangeable in the B-body and C-body cars of the era. NOTE: IF YOU PLAN TO UPGRADE YOUR STANDARD COLUMN TO TILT/TELE, YOU WILL NEED THE STEERING WHEEL SHROUD EXTENSION PARTS AND POSSIBLY A DIFFERENT LOWER STEERING COLUMN SHAFT. DETAILS ON THE PART: This Tilt / Tele Steering Column came from a 1974 Electra that had a low 66K miles. Car ran and drove nicely. The features work fine on it...

And you can see that in my pics, I demonstrate them. The Tele glides in/out and locks properly. The Tilt goes up and down correctly.

The key switch on/off and column release/Shift lever works fine. The ignition switch started the car, so it's working fine. It passed each "test" I could think of before removal. The color is dark tannish-brown.

The shift lever and the tilt lever come with it, as well as the lock lever pieces for the Tele function. The harnesses from the column have the connectors on them, PLUS I included the pigtails on the joining connector, in case you are doing a custom application & wiring a new harness. The Turn signal lever is NOT included. You can spray the metal body any color you want, to match your interior, etc. This is a very serviceable column, whether you are replacing a broken one or upgrading to the Tilt/Tele features.
