The model number of the radio is 13AFM1 which identifies this radio was originally installed in a 1971 Cutlass/442/Vista Cruiser. 1970 models used the same face dimensions but had a separate amplifier unit which was moved into the radio starting in 1971 due to advances in technology. This radio will bolt right into 1970 Olds A body models with no modifications necessary. Don't miss this very nice example.
This is a true Stereo radio. This radio is easily identified by the orange colored stereo indicator lamp in the center of the dial. This indicator lights up when a strong FM Stereo signal is tuned it. The radio could certainly benefit from detailing as shown.
All pushbuttons and dials work as they should. The case of the radio has no breaks, modifications, and some light surface corrosion. This radio is simply an awesome original radio that is ready to install and enjoy or could be detailed for your show stopper. This radio has been serviced by a Delco trained professional who had been servicing these radios for decades. I made a video of this radio being tested.
